Husher Training Aid

A humane training aid for dogs that helps to control unwanted barking.

The Husher™ Training Aid is a simple yet effective training aid, made from a stretchable elastic material which limits the expansion of your dog's mouth. The elastic exerts a firm yet humane pressure around the snout, similar to that applied by a canine pack leader to maintain dominance, but still allows your pet to breathe (from both the front and back of the mouth), pant, drink and eat with ease.

As your dog barks while wearing the Husher, the controlled expansion of the training aid tires out his muscles very easily. After a few short barks, dogs find it easier and less tiresome not to exhibit nuisance behaviour.

The neck strap is attached to the elastic and webbing at three points, which makes it more difficult for the dog to remove the Husher. The straps are attached to a buckle which clips at the back of the dog's head.

Sizing Instructions

Please measure and select the right size Husher for your dog prior to purchase.

Using a piece of string, measure your dog's snout circumference by starting at point "A" and taking the string around your dog's mouth, finishing back at point "A". Next, measure the distance (bridge length) from "A" to "B", which is also shown in the image below.

Compare the A to A (snout circumference) and A to B (bridge length) measurements to the chart below to find the correct size for your dog.
