What is Milbemax for dogs?

Milbemax Allwormer for dogs is a chewable tablet to prevent and control a wide range of gastrointestinal worms. Suitable for all dogs, it comes in two sizes depending on the weight of your pooch. If you want to administer Milbemax to your puppy or a small dog, choose the 0.5-5kg package. For larger dogs, including old dogs, working dogs, greyhounds and pregnant and lactating bitches, choose the 2-25kg sizing.

 

What worms does Milbemax treat?

Milbemax Allwormer for dogs treats the widest spectrum of worms. When used every 3 months, it will protect your pooch against common intestinal worms such as roundworm, hookworm, whipworm, tapeworm and lungworm. If you want your dog to be protected from deadly heartworm infections as well, then the manufacturer recommends administering it monthly.

 

What is the difference between Milbemax and Drontal?

While very similar, Milbemax offers some advantages against Drontal. Milbemax dog wormer will treat or prevent a slightly broader spectrum of worms, including tapeworms, that Drontal does not. What’s more, Milbemax for dogs comes in the smallest tablet on the market, making administering it an easy task.

 

How effective is Milbemax?

Milbemax is a highly effective dog worming treatment. It offers excellent broad-spectrum protection against the most common types of worms, and it can even treat or prevent deadly heartworms if given monthly. Don’t forget to protect your pup against fleas and ticks as well with a separate treatment.

Mbemax Allwormer for dogs has an excellent safety profile and, when administered as specified, it is safe to use on all dogs. The most common side effects manifest in a mild form and are temporary loss of appetite, lethargy and diarrhoea.

 

How often should I administer Milbemax wormer to my dog?

As recommended by the manufacturer, Milbemax dog wormers should be given to an adult dog every 3 months.
