Key Benefits:

  • Versatile 120ml bottle designed for multiple animal species
  • Compatible with teats suited for various growth stages
  • Accurate dual-scale markings (ml/fl. oz.) for precise feeding
  • Supports animal recovery and development when natural feeding isn't possible
  • Ideal tool for wildlife carers, vets, and pet owners
  • Lightweight, reusable, and built for everyday feeding routines
  • Helps prevent malnutrition in orphaned or unwell animals

How To Use:

  • Teat Selection:
    • Teats should look and feel like mum's that's the best way to ensure comfort and support natural development. For marsupials, teats get longer as joeys grow, so you'll need to change teats as they mature. Check out the online guide or trust your instincts as a carer!
  • Size of Hole:
    • You'll need to make the hole yourself;
    • Try a hot needle to pierce a small hole (around 1 mm).
    • Bigger animals might need a snip with scissors.
    • If the teat is getting weak or tearing, the hole is probably too small.
    • A good hole lets the milk drip slowly when you turn the bottle upside down.
  • Feeding Technique:
    • Syringe feeding with a teat on the end helps you control the milk flow. Reach out to experienced carers for tips specific to your animal it makes a big difference!
  • Care and Storage:
    • Latex teats need a little TLC;
    • Keep them dry and out of the light in an airtight, opaque container.
    • After feeding, wash them in warm soapy water and let them dry.
    • You can sterilise them by boiling or using baby bottle sterilising solutions.

Directions for use
  • Teat Selection:
    • Teats should mimic the mother's teat in shape and size for mouth comfort, fit, and proper tooth development. Marsupial teats lengthen as the joey matures; so progression to longer teats is
    • essential. While guidelines are available online, carers can determine the most suitable teat for each individual animal.
  • Size of Hole:
    • There is no pre-made hole in the teats; carers must make one to suit the animal's age. Use a hot needle to make a ~1 mm hole, or scissors for larger holes.
    • If the hole is too small, sucking may damage the tip, causing it to rupture.
    • A properly sized hole allows milk to drip slowly when the bottle is upside down.
  • Feeding Technique:
    • Use a syringe with a teat fitted over the end for better milk flow control. Always seek advice from experienced carers on proper feeding methods for different species.
  • Care and Storage:
    • Latex is a natural material; deterioration can be slowed by keeping teats in a dry, dark space. Store in an opaque, airtight container.
    • Wash teats with warm soapy water.
    • Dry thoroughly.
    • Sterilize if needed using boiling water or infant sterilising solutions.
