Frontline Spray is a topical liquid for the treatment and prevention of flea infestation and control of adult brown dog tick and paralysis tick. Frontline Spray has a rapid onset of action and kills re-infestations with newly acquired adult fleas for up to 12 weeks on dogs and 8 weeks on cats, and ticks for up to 3 weeks on dogs and cats. Frontline Plus also treats and controls Flea Allergy Dermatitis in dogs. It can be used on puppies and kittens from 2 days of age and is safe to use on breeding, pregnant or lactating animals.

Fipronil
For use on dogs and cats, puppies and kittens from 2 days of age. Adjust the pump nozzle to the spray setting. Apply Frontline Spray at 3-6 mL per kg body weight. Use higher rates for long haired or densely coated animals to ensure the coat is thoroughly wet. Spray the entire body of the animal and apply from a distance of approximately 10-20 cm. Apply against the lay of the hair, and make sure that the entire coat of the animal is thoroughly wet with Frontline Spray. Ruffle the coat as the spray is applied, especially in long haired or densely coated animals, so that the product penetrates down to the skin. Allow to dry naturally. Do not towel dry.
In paralysis tick areas, daily searching to prevent tick paralysis is necessary in the paralysis tick season. Consult your veterinarian for local information on tick prevalence. Consult a veterinarian before using on medicated animals, animals using this product with other pesticides, and debilitated or aged animals. Frontline Spray is safe for use on pregnant and lactating animals. This product is flammable. Keep away from heat and open flame. Keep treated animals away from fires and other sources of heat for at least 30 minutes following spraying and until the coat is totally dry. This product causes eye irritation in humans and is harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin. Call poison information center if swallowed. Do not eat, drink or smoke when applying the spray. If on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. If in eyes, flush with plenty of water.
Possible Side EffectsIndividual sensitivities, while rare, may occur after using any pesticide product for pets. If signs persist, or become more severe, consult a veterinarian immediately. Do not use Frontline Spray if you or your pet have a known hypersensitivity to insecticides or to alcohol.
