Nexgard Spectra for Dogs Description
Nexgard Spectra is a new once a month, chewable tablet for the effective control of fleas, ticks, heartworm and intestinal worms for dogs and puppies. Nexgard Spectra combines two active ingredients (Afoxolaner and Milbemycin Oxime) for protection against the most common internal and external parasites of dogs. It comes as an easy to administer, tasty, beef-flavoured chew. It can be used on puppies over 4.4 lbs in weight and from 8 weeks of age.

Directions of Use
Nexgard chewables are administered orally once a month at the recommended dosage. For use in dogs and puppies 8 weeks or older and over 4.4 lbs in weight. This product packaged in doses for dogs and puppies in 5 weight ranges, 4.4 to 7.7 lbs, 7.8 to 16.5 lbs, 16.6 to 33 lbs, 33.1 to 66.1 lbs and 66.2 to 132.2 lbs.

Caution
This product is for use in dogs and puppies 8 weeks or older and over 4 lbs in body weight. Studies with Nexgard Spectra have not been conducted in pregnant and lactating animals. Do not use in cats or other species. Call poison information center if swallowed. Nexgard was well tolerated in all breeds including Collies with ivermectin sensitivity.
Possible Side Effects
The most frequently reported adverse reaction was vomiting. This tended to be self-limiting and of short duration. If signs persist or become more severe within a few days of administration, consult a veterinarian immediately.
