Directions of Use

Place the applicator tip of the Advantage for cats flea treatment through the cats hair to the skin level. For cats, apply to the skin on the back of the neck at the base of the skull. Do not get any Advantage flea medication in the pet’s eyes or mouth.

Caution
Advantage flea medication for cats is for external use on cats 8 weeks or older. Consult a veterinarian before using on medicated animals, animals using this product with other pesticides and debilitated or aged animals. Advantage is safe for use on pregnant and lactating queens. This product causes eye irritation in humans and is harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with the skin. Seek medical attention if swallowed. If on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. If in eyes, flush with plenty of water.

Possible Side Effects
Individual sensitivities, while rare, may occur after using any pesticide product for pets including Advantage for cats. If signs persist, or become more severe, consult a veterinarian immediately. Advantage flea treatment for cats is bitter tasting and salivation may occasionally occur if the cat licks the application site immediately after treatment. This is not a sign of intoxication and disappears after a short time without treatment.
