Dimmitrol for Dogs:
Dimmitrol contains the active ingredient, Diethycarbamazine or DEC, that is used for daily prevention of heartworm in dogs. Diethycarbamazine or DEC is commonly known in the US as Filaribits or Nemacide. It is also used for the treatment and prevention of roundworms in dogs and for the treatment of lungworm nematodes in dogs.
