Zeniquin is a synthetic broad-spectrum antibacterial from the fluoroquinolone class of chemotherapeutic agents for veterinary use in dogs and cats. It is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections susceptible to marbofloxacin. Zenequin is used in the treatment of skin and soft-tissue infections and urinary tract infections and cystitis.

Directions for Zenequin
The usual dose of Zeniquin in dogs and cats is 1.25mg/lb of body weight given once a day.

Side effects of Zenequin
Do not use this medication in animals allergic to Zeniquin or other quinolone antibacterials. Use with caution in animals with CNS disorders. Do not use Zeniquin in cats less than 12 months of age. Use with caution in breeding, pregnant, or lactating animals. Zenequin is contraindicated in immature dogs during the rapid growth phase (small and medium breeds up to 8 months of age, large breeds up to 12 months of age and giant breeds up to 18 months of age) as it may cause damage to the cartilage in the joints at this stage.
