Directions for Proheart
Proheart is given once a month, year round for the prevention of heartworm disease. The usual dose of Proheart in dogs up to 22 lb is 30 mcg ? 1 tablet from blue pack, for dogs 23-47 lb is 68 mcg ? 1 tablet from green pack, for dogs 48-99 lb is 136 mcg ? 1 tablet from red pack, and for dogs 100 -150 lb is 204 mcg ? 1 tablet from yellow pack.

Side effects of Proheart
Do not use in puppies under 4 weeks of age. This medication should not be used in animals allergic to it. Heartworm testing should be performed prior to the start of prevention therapy. Proheart prevents heartworm infections. It is not a treatment for existing heartworm disease. This product causes eye irritation in humans and is harmful if swallowed. Call poison control center if swallowed. Wash hands after use.
