Proban Tablets is a tablet for the control of fleas on dogs.

Directions for Proban Tablets
For flea control on dogs: Weigh dogs before treatment. Give one Proban tablet by mouth according to the approved dosage of 30 mg cythioate (1 tablet) per 20 pounds of body weight every third day or twice a week.

Side effects of Proban Tablets
The side effects of Proban may occur due to accidental over dosage or unexpected sensitivity. Signs may include vomiting, diarrhea, salivation, lethargy and neurologic signs (weakness, paralysis). If your pet shows any of these signs or other abnormal behavior or unusual signs, stop using the product and contact your veterinarian immediately.
Do not give to greyhounds or animals that are sick, pregnant, lactating or recovering from surgery. Proban should not be used on animals undergoing treatment with any other organophosphate based products including rinses, shampoos, sprays, collars and oral treatments. Organophosphate products may also be known as an anti-cholinesterase compound. This medication should not be used in animals allergic to it. This product can be toxic to people and therefore should be handled with care. Avoid direct contact with skin; keep all products out of the reach of children.
