Canex Puppy Suspension is a chocolate flavoured liquid for the control of roundworm and hookworm in puppies and small dogs. Canex Puppy Suspension does not control tapeworms, whipworm or heartworm. Each bottle contains 20 mls of worming suspension.

Directions for Canex
Weigh puppies before treatment. Puppies are treated by weight with the appropriate amount of worming liquid. Canex Puppy Suspension is given as a single dose by mouth or mixed in food. Fasting prior to dosing is not necessary. Dosage is 1ml per 2.2 lb bodyweight.
A common regime for treatment is to worm puppies every 2 weeks of age from 2 weeks old until 12 weeks, monthly from 3 months until 6 months then every 3 months as an adult dog.

Side effects of Canex
The side effects of Canex Puppy Suspension are rare at the recommended dosage. Canex Puppy Suspension has a wide margin of safety for all sizes and breeds of dogs. It is approved for use in puppies as young as 2 weeks of age. Canex Puppy Suspension may be combined with other treatments, for example heartworm prevention, flea and tick treatments, vaccination.
Do not use in puppies under 2 weeks of age. This medication should not be used in animals allergic to it.
