Advantage is a once a month topical flea treatment for cats and kittens 8 weeks or older and dogs and puppies 7 weeks or older. This product kills 98-100% of the fleas on cats and dogs within 12 hours.

Directions for Advantage for Dogs
Place the applicator tip through the animals hair to the skin level. On cats, apply to skin on neck at the base of the skull. For dogs up to 20 lbs, apply to skin on back between the shoulder blades. For dogs over 21 lbs apply in divided doses between the shoulder blades on the back between the hips and one point in between. Do not get this product in the pet?s eyes or mouth.

Side effects of Advantage for Dogs
This product is for external use on dogs 7 weeks or older and cats 8 weeks or older. Consult a veterinarian before using on medicated animals, animals using this product with other pesticides, and debilitated or aged animals. Advantage is safe for use on pregnant and lactating animals. This product causes eye irritation in humans and is harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin. Call control information center if swallowed. If on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. If in eyes, flush with plenty of water.
